Measures taken for a possible US withdrawal from JCPOA

TEHRAN, May 04 (MNA) – President’s Chief of Staff Mahmoud Vaezi said that Islamic Republic of Iran has predicted all consequences of the possible US pullout from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the official title of nuclear deal, expertly.

He made the above remark in his meeting with the Leader’s representative in Khorasan Razavi province and Mashhad Friday prayers leader at the threshold of upcoming visit of President Rouhani to this province and said, “since the US will adopt decision to stay or leave Iran’s nuclear deal dubbed “JCPOA” on May 12, the upcoming visit of President Rouhani to this province is of paramount importance.”

He pointed to the negative and poisonous propaganda of foreign media outlets and some domestic media on inducing difference between government and some personalities of this province and said, “relying upon the assistance of the Almighty God, Iran will foil conspiracies waged against the country under its wise leadership completely.”

Iran has taken necessary predictions to confront the possible US pullout from JCPOA since last year, he said, adding, “it is planned that in case of US pullout from Iran’s nuclear deal, the country is not much affected by the consequences of the action.”

In conclusion, President’s Chief of Staff Mahmoud Vaezi said, “cooperation and collaboration between people and government under the wise leadership of the supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, this issue will be administered precisely in the best form possible.”
