US national security strategy futile effort for Iranophobia: Ghasemi

TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi condemned the plans outlined in the newly released US national security strategy as futile efforts against Iran.

"The whole text of new US national security strategy, which has been issued by Trump, is full of the futile efforts of the perpetrators of the document to instill a fabricated threat of Iran,” Bahram Ghasemi said adding that, “it is categorically rejected and condemned.”

Bahram Ghasemi, the Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made the remarks on Tuesday, in reaction to the newly released text.

“What has been depicted in this unconventional text of no wisdom and realism is the repetition of the same baseless accusations and hallucinations a few hallucinated states of the region and US,” reiterated the Iranian diplomat.

“The illogical articles of this unbalanced and partial strategy clearly show that the government of this country is to project the challenges, failures, and self-made problems which are confronting US in the domestic and international arenas which have been more exposed in the last year,” Mr. Ghasemi articulated.

Mr. Ghasemi asserted that the new US national security strategy will push the world toward more insecurity, instability, and terrorism.

According to Ghasemi, the indifference of the international community toward Trump’s adventurism has made him fabricate fake threats. Ghasemi reassured that US will harvest nothing more than failure in the international arenas and the regions of focus.
