'KoKo BoBo' to vie at 2 Asian, Caribbean events

TEHRAN, Nov. 25 (MNA) – Iranian animation 'KoKO BoBo' will vie at two Asian and Caribbean animation festivals after its first international screening in the American Palm Springs Animation Festival.

The 16th annual Animae Caribe Festival that is going to be held in Trinidad and Tobago between 21st and 25th of November, will host 'KoKo Bobo'. Two parts of the 'KoKo BoBo' TV animation will be screened at the festival.

Animae Caribe’s Animation and Digital Media Festival is the Caribbean’s biggest and most prestigious animation festival, according to its website.

Furthermore, Hosseini’s short animated film is going to be a serious competitor at the 4th Asia Rainbow TV Award Festival which is scheduled to be held in China between 16th and 18th of March next year.

Asia Rainbow TV Awards is an Asian television awards ceremony held by Hong Kong Television Association and China Television Production Committee. 

Directed by Rasoul Hosseini, animated short film 'Koko Bobo' is the story of two close friends who are classmates. At school they learn some skills about traffic in the cities and, as a child, how to cross the streets with the help of their fathers, the police, and a traffic app.
