2 Iranian shorts to go on screen at Russian event

TEHRAN, Nov. 14 (MNA) – ‘The Wind Carried the Striped Pajama of Dad’ by Mohammad Sadeghi and ‘the Refugee Camp’ by Saeed Naghavian will be screened in the 22nd Radonezh film festival.

The 22nd Radonezh international cinema festival is held on 21-24 November, Moscow. ’The Wind Carried the Striped Pajama of Dad’ will be screened on November 22, at 11 o’clock.

‘The Wind Carried the Striped Pajama of Dad’ is a short film directed by Mohammad Sadeghi. It tells the story of children from an Afghan father and an Iranian mother and the problems they face in their lives. 

Seyyed Abbas Hosseini and Ali Mousighidan star in this short film.

‘The Wind Carried the Striped Pajama of Dad’ has won the best script award, the best director award and honorable mention for the best actor from Isfahan International Festival of Films for Children & Young Adults.

‘The Wind Carried the Striped Pajama of Dad’ was also screened in Malatya international film festival. 

Another Iranian short film, ‘the refugee Camp’ by Saeed Naghavian, will also be shown in this Russian film festival. 

The international cinema festival ‘Radonezh’ is a recognized international festival in the sphere of religious, spiritual and moral cinema which is held in collaboration with ministry of culture of the Russian federation and the Russian photographic society. 

This year, the festival focuses on the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution.
