‘Autumn Memories’ wins at Venezuela’s filmfest.

TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (MNA) – Three-nation effort ‘Autumn Memories’ directed by Iranian filmmaker Ali Fakhr Mousavi, has won two awards at Oct. edition of Five Continents International Film Festival in Venezuela.

Jointly produced by Iran, Czech Republic and Ukraine, ‘Autumn Memories’ has won Special Mention Director Feature Film for Ali Fakher Mousavi, and Special Mention Original Music Score Feature Film for Roman Krotin at the October edition of Five Continents International Film Festival in Venezuela.

‘Autumn Memories’ is an anti-war love story about a girl whose family and home come under terrorist attacks. The girl goes through displacement, loss of eyesight and even loss of speech, but manages to find love and peace in another corner of the world among the people who have also been affected by war.

‘Release from Heaven’ by Ali Noori Oskouei also won Best Animation Short Film award, while ‘The Old Green Tree’ by Sina Eskandari won Best Student Half-Length Film award at the event.

Five Continents International Film Festival is an online festival, with live screening of the winning films. It is a monthly festival of world cinematography, where feature films, short films, videoclips, webseries and video arts from all over the world come together to compete for the various prizes.
