‘Limit’ wins best short film award at TRIFF

TEHRAN, Nov. 01 (MNA) – Iranian short ‘Limit’ won best short film award at Tryon International Film Festival (TRIFF) in the US.

Javad Daraei’s short film is a spiritual adaption that employs novel metaphors to challenge the cliché hardships for physically impaired people.

The 7-minute Limit is about the difficulties and problems in the daily lives of people with disability who are afraid to involve actively in the society because of the presuppositions and judgments.

Limit had previously taken part at the 32nd edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in Florida, the US. It has also competed at the MoonDance International Festival in the US, winning an award. Hollywood Hills Awards has also presented the award for best foreign short film to Limit.

Experiencing its third year, Tryon International Film Festival (TRIFF) was held on October 27-29 in Tryon, NC.
