Zarif sits at working breakfast with American thinkers in NY

TEHRAN, Sep. 23 (MNA) – Iranian FM had a working breakfast with a group of American thinkers from John Hopkins, Harvard, and MIT universities early on Saturday in New York.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who is visiting New York for taking part in the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations attended a dinner banquet at an American Think tank, the Atlantic Council, later on Friday. The Iranian top diplomat delivered a lecture at the venue.

Then, early on Saturday, he shared the table at working breakfast with a group of American thinkers from John Hopkins, Harvard, and MIT universities in New York.

Afterward, the Iranian chief of diplomacy gave an interview to political pundit Fareed Zakaria. The interview will be broadcast on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Later in the afternoon, the Iranian minister is slated to meet with the heads of some American groups who back the nuclear deal of July 14, 2015, known as the JCPOA.
