‘Korea, Close-up’ invites Iranians to learn more about Korean culture

TEHRAN, Aug. 29 (MNA) – A week-long exhibition and workshop of South Korea, called “Korea, Close-up”, has been organized by Korean Embassy in cooperation with Art and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality in September.

The year 2017, being declared as “Iran-Korea, Year of Cultural Exchange” by presidents of both countries, has been the busiest year for the two sides as the 55th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. Therefore, Embassy of Republic of Korea takes another step to prepare an environment for Iranians to learn more about different aspects of Korean Culture. 

On this occasion, with cooperation with Art and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality, an Exhibition and workshop is going to be held during a week at Melal Cultural Center in Qeytariyeh Park, Tehran. The aim of this event is to bring the people of these two countries even closer.

The schedule for the programs is as follows:

Hansik experience and observing the making and preparing process of Koran food: 3 September, 17:00-19:00

Opening ceremony, speech by officials and traditional performance by both countries: 3 September, 19:00-20:00

Workshop on similarities of family values in Korean and Iranian culture

Exhibition and photo Gallery, 21 pictures showing different aspects of Korean Culture:  3-9 September, 10:00-20:00

Hanbok Exhibition and Korean traditional cloth photo zone: 3-9 September, 10:00-20:00

It should be noted that the exhibition is free of charge and open to public. At all times Korean and Iranian students are there to answer any questions and give explanations.
