“Helping the people of Yemen is both a humanitarian act and a slap in the face of Al Saud,” said the Former IRGC chief and current Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei on Friday, in a meeting with a group of donors and contributors of humanitarian aids to Yemen.
“An unprecedented event is happening in Yemen, while the tragedy of Palestine is underway for around 70 years, but the depth of disaster in Yemen is beyond comparison with Palestine,” highlighted the Iranian official.
“The loneliness of the Yemenis is also bigger than Palestinians’ because when something happens on the occupied lands [of Palestine], people from all over the world uprise to support the people of Palestine,” articulated Mr. Rezaie, “but the Yemenis seem to be forgotten and nobody does anything for them in the world.”
The Iranian official reassured that the trajectory of world events is going the way that in future the people of Yemen will be defended. He reasoned that the disaster in Yemen is so big and indefensible that no conscious person would hear these news pieces of Yemen and think the other way.
“On the other hand, against this big assault has formed a sacred resistance and the people of Yemen despite all the pressures upon them are present on the scene,” affirmed the former head of IRGC.
