US to regret tug of war with IRGC

TEHRAN, Jun. 19 (MNA) – Former IRGC general and current Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said US is better refrain from tug of war with IRGC, since it will regret the remorseful outcomes.

In a message to IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari on Monday following operations in Syria's Deir Ezzor, Mohsen Rezaei underlined that sanctioning the organization, which is the shield of dignity of the Iranian nation, is "impossible."

"The roar of missiles of the brave men of Islamic Army, gave rise to a wave of joy in the hearts of Iran's hero nation and a grisly nightmare of terror in the hearts of terrorists and their supporters," the message reads.

Rezaei said he is proud of military commanders, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari and Commander of Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, who fired ballistic missiles hitting Syria’s Deir Ezzor, creating a hell of fire on ISIL positions, as well as Commander of Ground Forces Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, who destroyed terrorists in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

"US must accept that Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a shield of dignity of the Iranian nation, is impossible to boycott," he added, noting that tug of war with IRGC will lead to remorseful outcomes.
