Syrian army restores security, stability to 6 villages in Aleppo

ALEPPO, Mar. 26 (MNA) –Syrian Army and Armed Forces units restored security and stability to six villages in the eastern countryside of Aleppo after eliminating the last gatherings of ISIL terrorists there.

SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that army units, backed by supporting forces, continued to advance in the eastern countryside of Aleppo city and restored security and stability to the villages of Um al-Mari, Shreimeh, Jnat Salameh, Had Housh, al-Qseer, and Khraej Daham after fierce battles with ISIL terrorists which resulted in killing and injuring many of them while the remaining terrorists fled eastwards.

He added that engineering units combed the villages and dismantled the IDEs and mines planted by the terrorists, paving the way for the return the locals to their houses.

The reporter said that army units also managed to secure the evacuation of over 5,000 civilians from the areas controlled by ISIL terrorists in the depth of the eastern countryside of Aleppo through a safe corridor to secure villages.
