“These remarks contain no new idea and are full of repetitious, void, and valueless claims against Iran’s peaceful program of nuclear energy,” announced Bahram Ghasemi on Thursday in reaction to Trumps anti-Iran remarks at a joint presser with Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington.
“The security challenges faced by Israeli regime are enormous, including the threat of Iran's nuclear ambitions, which I've talked a lot about. One of the worst deals I've ever seen is the Iran deal," said Donald Trump during a White House news conference with Netanyahu on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Mr. Ghasemi asserted that trump’s claims are re-expressed at a time when numerous reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have approved the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program; “A fact that has been repeatedly verified by different countries.”
“The bitter truth is that these inadmissible and unworthy claims are restated by a regime unbinding to no international law and regulation and storing hundreds of nuclear war-heads in its arsenal,” articulated the spokesperson referring to Israel’s nuclear weaponry which is supervised by no international entity. “A regime which makes up the biggest threat to peace and security in the Middle East and the world and its thick file of anti-humanitarian crimes and measures against the people of Palestine and the neighboring countries is full of UN and other international organizations reports.”
Mr. Ghasemi reassured that nuclear weapons are totally unacceptable by the religious principles of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Fatwa’s of some major clerics of Iran, including Iranian Leader’s, condemn the use of such weaponry. “Therefore nuke weapons have no place in the military doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran and certainly will continue its peaceful nuclear program under the guidelines of the JCPOA which has also been approved by the Security Council of the United Nations.”
While President Trump’s anti-Iran remarks are not new, he repeated the same kind of rhetoric in his joint presser with Netanyahu, “My administration has already imposed new sanctions on Iran, and I will do more to prevent Iran from ever developing — I mean ever — a nuclear weapon. Our security assistance to Israel is currently at an all-time high, ensuring that Israel has the ability to defend itself from threats, of which there are unfortunately many.
