Swedish PM in Qazvin to visit Caspian Industrial Park

TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (MNA) – Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven arrived in Qazvin province for a 1-day visit to Caspian Industrial Park on Sunday.

Accompanied by Deputy Minister for Industries Affairs Mohsen Salehinia, Stefan Löfven will pay trade visit to an industrial unit in Qazvin jointly built by Iran and Sweden.

He will visit Iran’s new Scania truck factory marking the company’s commitment to the country following the easing of sanctions last year.

Scania has been present and operating in Iran since the early 1980’s, and in 2009 was one of its largest bus markets.

Swedish prime minister arrived in Tehran on Friday evening for an official three-day visit.
