US extension of sanctions violation of JCPOA; Iran to react

TEHRAN, Nov. 23 (MNA) – In meeting with Basij members, Leader of Islamic Revolution criticized lack of commitment of US towards JCPOA warning that Iran will react to extension of anti-Iran sanctions as breach of deal.

On occasion of Basij Week, a group of Basij commanders and members from across Iran met with Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei.
Leader of Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei who had received a number of Basij (popular voluntary mobilized forces) this morning, pointed to the nuclear deal and slammed the United States for not being committed to the deal: "Regarding the nuclear deal, incumbent US administration has violated the deal for several times; the most recent one was extension of sanctions for ten years, which if approved, will certainly be a violation of JCPOA and they must know that the Islamic Republic will absolutely react to it."

Ayatollah Khamenei also noted recent Arbaeen rallies saying that it was an epic event with providence behind it; "magnificent and glorious Arbaeen rally is a great Divine and historic phenomenon indicating that this path, is path of passion along with insight. This blessing must be praised for and it can be done by maintaining the morale, fraternity, kindness and attention to Welayah (Leadership) that were attained within the rally."

“A second epic event was formation of Basij where the Leader and founder of the Islamic Revolution was inspired by God in establishment of the entity; Imam Khomeini (RA) was in a position to assign the important role of deriving the Revolution forward to the youth, from whose efforts later Basij was born into existence,” he told the meeting.

Leader warned about the parallel entities intended to facilitate infiltration by the enemies and to sow discord between the real warriors of soft war (cultural and cyber) and those they create themselves; “foster a spirit of fraternity and solidarity among yourselves,” he recommended.
