Intl. electricity expo. underway in Tehran

TEHRAN, Nov. 06 (MNA) – Iran's 16th International Electricity Exhibition (IEE) was opened in Tehran on Saturday at the attendance of the Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian.

The event, which focuses exclusively on the Electrical industry, is being held from 5-8 November 2016 in Tehran International Ground Fair.

Approximately 295 foreign and 350 domestic companies are showcasing their products in an area covering 45,000 square meters in the four-day event.

Foreign firms present at the international exposition come from the US, China, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Britain, Taiwan, Canada, the UAE, Poland, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Finland, India and Switzerland.

The objective of exhibition is to act as a comprehensive resource for the industry, its members, prospective business visitors and customers by providing in-depth information about the industry and the latest trends influencing its progress.

Being attended by prominent electrical companies, equipment manufacturers and vendors, the expo offers participants the opportunity to become aquatinted with new technologies and techniques, exchange ideas and discuss industry trends.
