Moscow trilateral talks initiative of anti-terror resistance

TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – The Spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry described the trilateral meeting of Moscow over Syrian crisis as an upper-hand of the resistance axis fighting with terrorism.

“The anti-terrorism pro-Damascus resistance axis, comprised of Iran, Russia and collaborations of Iraq which has suffered from the spread of terrorism to its land, has accomplished greatly and the results and talks for continuation of the convergence would be discussed in Zarif’s one day visit to Moscow,” reiterated Bahram Ghasemi, the Spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, on Thursday, questioned by Iran’s official news agency, IRNA, “the foiling of the anti-Assad plots of some Western-Arabian countries, and weakening terrorists, in the course of the past year, like ISIL and the Al-Nusra Front (headed by Abu Mohammad al-Julani which has changed its name to Jabhat Fateh al-Sham) who have shifted from offensive pose to defensive with numerous defeats and limitation of their scope of operation are the major achievements of Tehran-Moscow-Damascus convergence as the anti-terrorism axis of the region.”

He maintained that while the anti-Syrian countries like the US would dismiss any talks on Syria some time ago insisting of change of the establishment in the Arab country as a pre-condition, now the initiatives have fruited in following the talks with political solutions atop of the agenda and priority of Syrians’ vote.

“Six years of anti-Syrian-nation conspiracies with millions of oil-revenue-dollars and westerners’ support of terrorists which included a deluge of arm and weapon feeding the terrorists have been thwarted by the initiatives of Iran and Russia,” asserted the Iranian diplomat, “tens of thousands of civilians in Syria and Iraq were victimized due to the instrumental use of the terrorists by Westerners, and to counter the spreading threats of terrorism, the trilateral talks of Foreign Ministers of Iran, Russia, and Syria in Moscow would be focused on political solutions of Syrian crisis, continuation of war on terrorism till the total eradication of the sinister phenomenon, and achieving more harmonious positions.”

Ghasemi underlined that the results of the Moscow meeting would strengthen the anti-terrorist front and the Syrian nation in fighting terrorism and would fruit in reaching to peace and stability to let dislocated people return to their home towns and habitats.
