Spain's Huesca Filmfest. hosts Iran's 'Hasti'

TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) – Iranian short film 'Hasti' directed by Kamal Parnak made its way to the competition section of the 44th edition of Huesca International Film Festival in Spain.

Festival Huesca is one of the oldest short film festivals in Spain. It showcases a selection of the best Latin American and international movies. The winners in the main categories are qualified automatically to enter the Short Film contest of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Produced by Tabriz branch of Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS), short film Hasti will compete with 29 other films from around the world.

The winners of the competition will finally get a chance to grab 5 awards of Huesca Film Festival, Best Short Film, Best Animation Short Film, Best First Work, Human Values Award and The Audience Prize.

The 44th edition of Huesca International Film Festival will be held from 17th to 25th June 2016 and it will consists of Latin American Contest, International Contest and Documentary Contest.
