Tehran, Seoul ink new labor agreement

TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) – Iran’s TVTO and a Korean university have signed a deal over new cooperation in the field of job training and skills development.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was sealed between Iran’s Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO) and Korea University of Technology and Education in line with expansion of international cooperation and exchange of educational research in the field of technical and vocational training on the basis of mutual interests.

The signed agreement pursues several objectives including exchange of research material and information exchange in the field of vocational training, educational visits hosted by faculty members and researchers, holding vocational training programs via organizations, joint holding of international conferences, joint research projects and participation in other relevant activities to improve mutual understanding and cooperation in the field.

The two sides are required to provide experience opportunities in various professional and technical sectors and a joint committee will be formed in order to track the implementation of the MoU, incorporate proposed amendments at the request of both parties as well as to hold meetings on suggested solutions to possible problems.

Also, the two parts need to implement the agreement in accordance with the laws and regulations of their respective countries.

Amending the Memorandum of Understanding will be based on mutual consent and will be extended until three years after its signing unless either party will announce its dissolution in written format.
