Iran determined to bolster ties with Oman

TEHRAN, Apr. 15 (MNA) – In another meeting on the sidelines of the 13th summit of OIC in Istanbul, President Rouhani met with the chairman of the council of state of Oman (Majlis al-Dawla).

Iran and Oman has always favored the same side in different regional and international issues, said President Hassan Rouhani of Iran in his meeting with the Chairman of the Council of State of Oman (Majlis al-Dawla), Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, on the sidelines of the 13th summit of the OIC in Istanbul.

Voicing gratitude for the shrewd decisions and approaches of Oman in different eras toward different issues, President Rouhani highlighted that Oman has got a special place among the neigbours of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Rouhani maintained that the positive and friendly ties between the two countries with strategic positions contribute to the peace, stability, and development of the region.

Saying that Iran is determined for all-out development of bilateral relations with Oman, the Iranian head of state demanded immediate implementation of agreements made between the two countries.

Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri for his part in the meeting described the relations between Iran and Oman as deep, and friendly, and added that Iran has always been looked upon as an honest neighbor for Oman and considering ‎the words of Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said there is no obstacle in broadening the ties.
