To be held in the City’s Theatre hall, the first speech will be given on Monday, December 14, by Director of the Theatre Institute in Warsaw Dorota Buchwald on ‘Management and theatre in Poland’. She will talk about the management and education system of theatre in Poland.
On the following day, Jarosław Fret - founder and leader of Theatre Zar, director and manager of the Grotowski Institute- will talk about ‘Europe’s cultural capital and theater Olympics’.
On Wednesday, December 16, Prof. Dariusz Kosiński will deliver a speech on ‘The impact of Kantor and Grotowski theatre on Tehran’s contemporary theater.’
Moreover on Thursday December 17, Witold Mrozek will address a session on ‘Physical theater in Poland’.
The sessions will be held on 6pm and they will be open to the public.
Iran's Dramatic Arts Center has organized its first theater cultural week with focus on Poland from December 13 as part of plans to hold such events devoted to other countries to introduce the potentials of Iran's theater.
The week-long event will include several discussion sessions, educational workshops, performances and fairs.
