Hezbollah's position was the first and immediate reaction to the approval by the US Congress of a law aimed at sanctioning their funding sources and which considers it a terrorist organization.
"We will fight the terrorism backed by the US, as an expression of Washington's crimes against our party, people, and followers," a Hezbollah spokesperson told Prensa Latina in reference to a Beirut's press communiqué.
According to the biggest Shia party in Lebanon, to which Israel considers its main and worst enemy in the Middle East, along with Iran, the US hegemony in the world is an immoral wish to manipulate the international political relations and attack organizations it considers hostile.
The Hezbollah command, whose military branch has been fighting for over a year in Syria in support to President Bashar Al-Assad, stressed that they will fight against the ISIL and Al-Nusra Front terrorism sponsored by the US and Israel.
According to the movement, which has representatives in the Lebanese Government and parliament, the motion promoted by the US lawmakers confirms that Washington's policy is an arbitrary attack to the party and people.
