The United World Wrestling, in collaboration with the leading and pioneer cities in sports has raised a new tender for the tournament of Wrestling World Cup in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The new and improved bid will remain operational for all of United World Wrestling’s competitions in the years 2018, 2019 as well as 2020.
In line with this plan, Iran's Wrestling Federation has also offered a formal request to the UWW to host both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling world cups in the years 2018 and 2019.
