TEHRAN, Oct. 17 (MNA) – New round of Iran-Russia oil talks will begin by the upcoming visit of Russia’s energy minister to Tehran in few days.

On the sidelines of OPEC’s meeting in Vienna, some international news agencies has reported Zanganeh as saying, “Iran will soon export 500 thousand barrels of oil to Russia in order to import non-oil goods and products including wheat, steel and oil equipment in return.

Part of the agreement between Iran and Russia will cover countries like Kazakhstan and Belarus as well; “being a member of the European Union, Kazakhstan and Belarus have also agreed on the purchase of the Iranian oil,” streesed Iran’s oil minister.

Meanwhile, NIOC's Director of International Relations Azizollah Ramezani has announced Iran’s eagerness to use the Turkish Stream pipeline to transfer Iran’s natural gas to the Europe market.

In time with the current changes in Tehran-Moscow relations, Russia’s Lukoil company has expressed desire to return to Iran’s oil industry taking a share in the project for development of Azar joint oil field in the west of Iran.

President of Russian energy giant Lukoil Vagit Alekperov had also met and talked with Iran’s Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh on the sidellines of OPEC’s meeting in June.
