No plan to close Iran's embassy in Sana'a

TEHRAN, Sep. 14 (MNA) – Deputy foreign minister for Arab-African affairs announced here on Monday that Iran has no plan to close its embassy in Yemen's capital, Sana'a.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in response to the claims made by some media networks that Iran's ambassador to Sana'a and members of the embassy there have left Yemen.

He ensured that Iran's ambassador is now in Tehran for a few days in order for a medical check-up.

He said the ambassador was present in Sana'a in all days of Saudi violation to Yemen and the embassy will continue its normal activities.

He noted that Saudi Arabia has been warned about security of Iran's diplomatic sites in the Yemeni capital.

He further stressed Iran's approach to hold Intra-Yemeni talks to solve the crisis, adding the issue of Yemen has no military solution.
