Iranian archer wins bronze medal

TEHRAN, Aug. 31 (MNA)- Gholam Reza Rahimi won the bronze medal in World Archery Para Championships in Germany.

Rahimi faced opponent from Russia and managed to score 6 to 4 and win the bronze medal.

Consequently, Iranian team won a bronze medal and earned 4 quota spots in 2016 Paralympic Games and will come back on Monday.

Gholamreza Rahimi, Ebrahim Ranjbar along with Mohadeseh Kohansal earned quota spots in rikro and Hadi Noori in compound for Iranian National Team.

World Archery Para Championships in Germany with the score of direct quota in Paralympic Games in Rio, which started in Donaueschingen September 2nd, was participated by 262 archers from 48 countries around the world and ended today.
