Majid Takht Ravanchi made the remarks during a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bolivia, Juan Carlos Alurralde here on Sunday who is in the Iranian capital to attend the third round of Iran-Bolivia political consultations.
Alurralde expressed his country’s support for Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear technology, and expressed hope that the recent nuclear deal reached between Iran and world powers would be implemented as soon as possible.
He also called for Iran’s assistance in building dams, generating electricity and farming fisheries in Bolivia.
Alurralde also conferred on developing mutual cooperation in the field of medicine and medical equipments.
The two officials further exchanged views on the West’s double-standard policies on human rights, misuse of counter-narcotics fight, and the ineffective and ambiguous policies of certain Western states on fighting terrorism.
