On the sidelines of the 12th Shotokan Karate World Cup hosted by Japan, the elections for the Board of Directors and various committees were held, during which Iran’s representative Masoud Seyedi was selected as the vice-president.

The consultations were made and Seyedi could gain the necessary votes to ensure the presence of an Iranian representative in this position for 4 more years.
The Federation has 115 member countries and Iran has always been one of the most active members having had a representative in the Federation since 1998.
