He added that the organization is determined to draw the map of the borderlines of the then empire and clarify the limits, later to begin the research works based on the limits.
Mohebali underlined that the project needs cooperation of the neighboring countries and the Iranian officials to provide the ground for international activities.
According to the head of the international department of the CHTO, Abdol-Rasul Vatandust, a part of Iranian culture, civilization, and history still remains in the neighboring countries of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan Republic.
Establishing extraterritorial ties and signing agreements with the countries are among the duties of the department which is currently planning to sign a joint research, renovation, and tourism memorandum of understanding with the Middle Eastern countries, added Vatandust.
“The MoU will help provide the ground for carrying out research works, and doing renovation on the historical monuments,” he also noted.
