Iran’s food cargo landed in Djibouti

TEHRAN, May 30 (MNA) –The Under Secretary General of IRCS told the reporters that a cargo plane of Iran’s humanitarian relief aid had landed in Djibouti on Friday.

After being loaded in the port city of Bandar-Abbas in the southern province of Hormozgan, the Iranian cargo plane with 20 tons of canned food for the war-stricken people of Yemen took off for Djibouti, the Under Secretary General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society Mohammad-Shahaboddin Mohammadi Araghi said adding that after coordinating with Djibouti officials the plane landed on Friday morning.

He also said the cargo was accompanied by 3 staff members of the Iranian Red Crescent Society to ease the procedures of delivering the food to Yemenis.
