Tehran to exhibit multilingual calligraphy artworks

TEHRAN, May 20 (MNA) – Niavaran Cultural Center will be hosting Mojtba Karami’s multilingual calligraphy-painting artworks on Omar Khayyam’s quatrains.

The exhibition consists of interdisciplinary artworks by Mojtaba Karami, and is being held at Niavaran Cultural Center in collaboration with International Calligraphy Center and Mahad Seir Sam Tourism Organization.

The exhibited collection of artworks by Mojtaba Karami provides an opportunity to bring about an intercultural dialogue between Iran and other countries with the aim of introducing the Iranian great figures. This multilingual collection includes some Persian-German, Persian-English, Persian-Spanish, Persian-Esperanto, Persian-Turkish, Persian-Italian, Persian-Russian, Persian- Japanese, Persian-Arabic, Persian-French and Persian-Georgian artworks. The artworks are embellished with Iranian classic art and modern painting.

The opening reception is May 22, 2015 from 17:00 to 21:00 Tehran time. The event will open to the public on May 23 and run through May 29.
