Iran,  Kurdistan Region to boost ties

TEHRAN, Feb. 25 (MNA) – The Governor of Sulaimaniyah described improvement of ties and multilateral relations with Iran a priority for Kurdistan Region.

Asoo Freydoun, arriving today in Marivan border, told reporters that Kurdistan Region consideres priority in strengthening its relations with Iran in all possible fields.

He asserted that Iran and Kurdistan Region at the moment enjoy wide and vast cooperation on economic, political, cultural, social, and security fields, “however, we demand for further expansion of tie,” he added.

Freydoun is scheduled to attend different sessions and sign different MoUs during his 3-day visit to Sanandaj, Kurdistn Province in western Iran.
