TEHRAN, Dec. 7 (MNA) – The spokesperson of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization has said it has presented the IAEA with information of new generation of centrifuges.

Mehr News reported that Behrooz Kamalvandi told that in line with cooperation agreements with the IAEA the Organization had presented the information about Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.

“The development of new generation of centrifuges has been in line with the agreement protocol to improve enrichment machines’ qualities and capacities of the production of the current infrastructures,” he added.

“New generation of centrifuges with higher capacities compared to first and second generations has passed the necessary testing stages.

According to the country’s strategic plan in providing the fuel for atomic reactor plants to produce 20,000 Megawatts of electricity in long run, modern technologies will be incorporated to our power plants,” he asserted.
