TVTO, IKCO to offer free technical training to car owners

TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) – Owners of cars produced by Iran Khodro would receive free of charge services to learn how to fix simple technical problems of their cars.

According to a report released by the Sales and After-Sales Services Organization of Iran Khodro Co., the company and the Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO) have provided the clients a set of workshops as new services.

 

The technical director of the organization, Eng. Afrasiabi, said that a total number of 250 training centers have been planned to be established across the country of which 50 is to become operational at once in the first phase of the plan.

 

In addition, 10 technical centers currently active in 10 different provinces would be chosen to be equipped with modern machinery in order to improve technical skills of the technicians employing in these representative centers affiliated to Iran Khodro.

 

In the meantime, the director of the organization said that the services will be offered in one-day workshops at classes provided by the TVTO.

 

Also the Training manager of the organization, Masood Aqlami, said that the organization’s technical center could manage to participate in the fifth national Olympiad on technical skills held October 7-10 in a building owned by the center.

 

Aqlami added that the Sale and After-Sale Services Organization provided all facilities needed for the competition of car technology and introduced a number of experts as judges to join the other judges introduced by TVTO.

 

The Olympiad was organized by the TVTO and 500 participants competed in that with one another in 20 different technical fields. The first three winners of each field were awarded at the end of the competition.

 

The first winners of the competition from each field would participate in an international competition which is due to be held next year in Finland on technical skills.
