Israel launches new attacks on West Bank, Gaza

TEHRAN, Sep. 18 (MNA) – Israeli Occupation Forces arrested ten Palestinians on Tuesday morning after raiding a number of towns and cities throughout occupied West Bank and killed a Palestinian young man was in Jenin.

According to Palestine Information Center, in al-Khalil, local sources revealed that IOF soldiers stormed Arroub refugee camp, Beit Ummar and Yatta towns where they conducted arrest and search campaigns. 
 

In Jenin, witnesses reported that the Israeli soldiers attacked the Jenin refugee camp in the early morning hours and closed its entrances. They arrested then assassinated a young Palestinian man after raiding his house. 

Palestinian security sources named the martyred man as Islam al-Tubasi, 21, and said he was shot as troops stormed his home in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

An Israel military statement said gave no information on why Tubasi has been targeted but said that his brother, who had been active in Islamic Jihad, was shot dead by troops in 2006.

Gaza incursion

In a separate development, Israeli forces made an incursion east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported.

Local residents said that several military vehicles, including bulldozers, penetrated 200 meters east of Khuza'a village and bulldozed lands along the security fence and moved north towards the neighborhood of Abasan.

They also said that Palestinian fighters deployed in the area fired at the Israeli forces.

Last month, two Palestinians were killed in clashes during an arrest raid in Jenin.
