Plain of Inverted Tulips Gently Touches Eyes of Every Visitor

TEHRAN, May 2 (MNA) –- During the month of May a plain of inverted tulip blossoms gently caresses the eyes of every visitor to Kuhrang, Chahar Mahal Bakhtiari Province.

Covering an area of 3,600 hectares, the beautiful plain attracts a multitude of tourists to the region every year during May.

The blossoms of inverted tulips in red and yellow give a magnificent beauty to the region, which is the treasure of the Zagros Mountains.

The blossoms last for only 15 days, so nature lovers try to get the most out of it within the short lifespan of the tulips. The specter of the white snowy mountains as the backdrop for the living green plains, running streams, and wild foliage also adds to the beauty of the region.
