Iran, Singapore to Enhance Cooperation in IT

TEHRAN April 7 (Mehr News Agency) -– A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Iran’s Commerce Minister, Mohammad Shariatmadari and Singapore Commerce and Industries Minister.

With the conclusion of MOU, it is predicted that the cooperation of the two countries will be enhanced particularly in the fields of information technology (IT), information and communication technology (ICT), hygiene and educational services as well as oil and gas industries.   

 

According to the Mehr News Agency, Iran and Singapore also reached an agreement to prepare the ground for conclusion of MOUs in the fields of mutual free trade and reciprocal investment guarantee through exchange of expert delegations and due negotiations.

 

In the MOU, which was signed between Iran and Singapore, the industrialists, economic institutions of Singapore have been invited for further cooperation with Iran’s free trade zones and industrial zones.

 

The report says that an MOU was also signed between Iran’s Qods chain stores and one of the chain stores active in Singapore.
