Painting
* Some unseen paintings by Iranian and European artists which were created during the 1970s are currently on display at Tehran’s Art Center.
Paintings by Mohammad Radvand, Mohsen Vaziri-Moqaddam, Parviz Shapur, Hannibal Alkhas and Abbas Kiarostami are being shown at the event.
The exhibit will run until January 2011 at the gallery located on Shariati Ave., northwest of Sadr Highway.
* The Sareban Gallery will hold a painting exhibition by Habibollah Sadeqi from December 31.
The exhibit will run until January 14 at the venue located at 8 Mehmandust St., off Shahid Beheshti Ave.
* A group painting exhibition is currently underway at the Shirin Gallery.
Paintings by several painters including Mina Anusheh, Hooman Derakhshandeh, Sepehr Bakhtiari and Sara Manjili are on display at the exhibit.
The showcase will run until January 5 at the gallery located at 145 North Salimi St., off Andarzgu Blvd. in the Farmanieh neighborhood.
* Paintings by Rahim Mowlaian will be put on display in an exhibition at the Seyhun Gallery from January 7 to 19, 2011.
