Organizers of the weeklong festival have picked “Cat and Mouse”, the masterpiece of the great Persian poet and satirist Obeid Zakani, as the major theme of the festival. The critical collection “Cat and Mouse” portrays social problems using attractive and humorous language. Zakani lived and died in the 14th century.
The association is asking cartoonists to send their works to the Art and Cultural Complex of Tabriz by February 29.
During the festival, the works will be displayed at the galleries of Mir-Ali Tabrizi, Yasami, and Tajrobeh Hall.
