Call for stronger ties between Iran’s Khorassan and Croatia’s Varazdin provinces

MASHHAD, May 18 (MNA) – The governor general of northeastern Khorassan Razavi Province here on Sunday called for the expansion of trade ties with the Varazdin Province of Croatia.

Meeting a delegation from Varazdin, Mohammad-Javad Mohammadi stated Khorassan Province is the shortest and safest way to Central Asia, Afghanistan, and the Indian subcontinent due to its 800-km joint borderline with Afghanistan and Pakistan.

 

He added that the province has great potentials in the fields of food industry, mines and mining, cement, and steel.
