US radar systems and naval assets struck in 92nd wave: IRGC

TEHRAN, Apr. 03 (MNA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that US radar systems and naval equipment in the region and in occupied territories were targeted during the 92nd wave of True Promise 4 Operation.

According to a statement the IRGC released on Friday afternoon, the first phase of the naval operation targeted a gathering point for U.S. amphibious landing craft (LCU) at Kuwait’s Shuwaikh Port, which was struck with ballistic missiles.
The IRGC also claimed that a long-range, three-dimensional early warning radar system identified as “AR-327,” located at the Jabal ad Dukhan radar site in Bahrain, was hit and destroyed in a drone attack.
In a separate development, the IRGC said its aerospace forces struck Ramat David Airbase, located southeast of Haifa, with two ballistic missiles. The base reportedly hosts Israeli F-16 fighter squadrons.
The statement further said that more than 50 locations in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas were targeted using Khorramshahr-4 multi-warhead missiles as part of continued missile barrages.
Additionally, the IRGC asserted that a U.S.-made F-35 fighter jet was shot down over central Iran by its air defense systems, describing it as the second such aircraft downed within 12 hours. The jet was said to belong to a squadron based at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom.
The IRGC added that “targeted and extensive attacks” are ongoing and that further details will be announced.
