“The drone attack on the home of the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in Dohuk is an example of a terrorist act by the aggressor enemies, just like what we have witnessed in recent days in the cowardly assassination of senior Iranian officials and the oppressed people of Iran by the American and Zionist terrorist armies,” the IRGC statement said on Saturday afternoon.
“These terrorist acts indicate the malicious efforts of the warmongering enemies to harm peace, stability, and regional cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and neighboring countries,” it added.
“The IRGC condemns this terrorist attack and declares its readiness to support and defend the security of its neighbors by strengthening security cooperation and creating a collective defense shield in the region by countries and regional actors against the evils of the American army and the Zionist regime,” it concluded.
