Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, and Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, held a telephone conversation to discuss and exchange views on the latest developments in the region and the consequences of the continued military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, while expressing gratitude for Turkey's efforts and those of some regional countries to end the ongoing imposed war, described the aggressions and crimes committed by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran as the main cause of the current situation and insecurity in the region.
Araghchi emphasized, "The main problem lies in the contradictory behavior and unreasonable demands of the American side. The inconsistent actions and statements of the American side are highly questionable and have increased skepticism towards their deceitfulness."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, referring to his country's approach to ending the imposed war by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressing readiness to play a constructive role in resolving the current crisis, stated, "Iran's skepticism towards the other side is understandable, as Iran has been attacked and subjected to military aggression twice in the middle of negotiations."
The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Turkey agreed to continue bilateral consultations and maintain coordination with other countries in the region.
