Iranian ambassador meets with new speaker of Iraqi Parliament

TEHRAN, Dec. 31 (MNA) – Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad, met and held talks with Haibat Al-Halbousi, the newly elected speaker of the Iraqi Parliament on Wednesday.

According to the official Iraqi News Agency (INA), the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region and shared issues between the two countries.

Earlier on Wednesday, Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf congratulated al-Halbousi in a message.
