According to a report by al-Masirah, the The Commission of Prisoners and Detainees Affairs (CDA) announced that over 9,100 Palestinian detainees remain in Israeli prisons and detention centers.
The committee described the conditions of these prisoners as extremely difficult, citing widespread mistreatment, systematic repression, and the denial of medical care by Israeli authorities.
It emphasized that the occupying forces continue to implement policies aimed at breaking the morale of Palestinian detainees through solitary confinement, torture, and deprivation of basic rights.
The statement added that in the recent prisoner exchange between Hamas and the Israeli regime, several Palestinian prisoners were released — many of whom suffered severe and lasting injuries due to prolonged torture and abuse during their imprisonment.
