370 UN staff killed in Gaza war since Oct. 7: UNRWA

TEHRAN, Oct. 07 (MNA) – UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), on the occasion of second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, has reported 370 of its staff have been martyred in Gaza, noting that time for a ceasefire has come.

In a statement on Tuesday, the agency emphasized that 370 of its staff were killed in Israeli aggression in Gaza, stating that two years have passed since the outbreak of Gaza war, during which more than 66,100 innocent Palestinian people have been martyred.

The statement stated that almost all residents of Gaza were displaced, more than 80 percent of buildings were destroyed or damaged, and more than 370 of the agency's staff were martyred.

UNRWA stated that the time has come for a ceasefire and also the release of all Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the Gaza Strip, the statement added.
