The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, issued a statement announcing that they had carried out a joint operation with the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, against the Israeli army.
The statement said that, "This morning, together with the Al-Qassam Brigades, we targeted the location of the Israeli military and equipment in the north of Khan Yunis with heavy shelling and mortars."
The statement did not give further details about possible casualties or damage on tghe part of the Isralei military.
The Islamic Jihad's Quds Brigades also announced, "Yesterday, Tuesday, we were able to target a gathering of the Zionist enemy in Tel al-Hawa with 60-caliber mortar shells."
