Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced in a statement that Yemeni forces carried out drone strikes on several Israeli positions in the south of the occupied territories.
According to the statement, Yemeni forces targeted the port of "Umm al-Rashrash" (Eilat) with two drones, successfully hitting the intended sites. Saree stressed that the operation achieved its goals and that Israel’s air defense systems failed to intercept the attack.
He noted that this marks the second drone strike on the occupied territories within 24 hours.
On Wednesday night, Israeli media reported that sirens were heard in Eilat in the occupied territories. Israeli media also said at least 50 people were wounded in the drone strike, with some reported in critical condition.
The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed that as long as Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip continues, their attacks on the occupied territories will persist.
