Iran defeats Germany in friendly volleyball match

The Iranian volleyball team is on a training camp in Doha, Qatar. The Iranian team defeated the team of  Slovenia 3-1 in a friendly on Tuesday. 

Iran has been drawn in Pool A along with Egypt, Tunisia, and the Philippines.

Iran will start the campaign with a match against Egypt on September 14.

The competition will be held in Pasay, the Philippines, from September 12 to 28.
