Mohsen Paknejad noted in an interview that a major portion of natural gas in winter is consumed by households, commercial sectors, and small industries. As a result, power plants’ fuel needs will be supplemented with liquid fuel.
Emphasizing the well-planned measures taken by the Oil Ministry, he added that power plants’ liquid fuel reserves by Aug. 16 are about 60% higher compared to the same period last year.
