Israeli regime conducts air strikes in south Lebanon

TEHRAN, Apr. 23 (MNA) – The Israeli regime's warplanes have carried out air raids against certain areas in southern Lebanon, according to the local media.

Israeli aircraft pounded several places in southern Lebanon including the vicinity of "Beit Lif", "Ayta ash Shab", "Yaroun", "Al-Mahmoudieh", "Al-Aishiyah", and the heights of "Jabal Abu Rashid", the Al-Mayadeen news network reported on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, the source added that an Israeli warplane attacked the al-Jabbour Heights in the Jezzine district.

On Monday evening, Lebanon's Hezbollah targeted areas of northern occupied Palestine with heavy missile and rocket attacks.

The Zionist media quoted the military spokesman of this regime as saying that about 35 rockets fired from Lebanon hit the Ein Zeitim base.

Earlier, the Zionist media had admitted that at least 20 rockets were fired from the south of Lebanon to the Safad area in the north of the occupied Palestine.

The Lebanese Resistance movement has been conducting regular attacks since early October against the Israeli regime’s military position in retaliation for the occupying regime’s offensives against Gaza and southern Lebanon.

Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
